Our Partnership

Energy & Utility Skills is very proud to be a partner of the Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) for some of our schemes, giving individuals who have passed the scheme access to CSCS controlled operational sites.

SHEA Schemes

The Safety, Health and Environment Awareness portfolio of schemes have been developed in conjunction with industry to provide a uniform approach to health, safety and environmental awareness training across the utilities sector, in line with Health and Safety Executive guidelines.

Where an individual has already achieved SHEA registration on EUSR and needs to achieve a registration against another SHEA scheme(s), they may undertake a reduced programme of training and assessment which will enable them to ‘convert’ and add on an additional SHEA registration to their existing registration.

SHEA schemes include:

NCO (Gas) and NCO (Water) Schemes

Our NCO (Network Construction Operations) schemes are developed in collaboration with Gas and Water Network owners as well as some of the larger employers in these industries.

The scheme is CSCS affiliated and EUSR registration carries the CSCS logo, which permits individuals access onto construction sites for the purposes of service and/or mains laying and associated activities.
