Fire Safety Awareness

About Fire Safety Awareness

Fire safety awareness is critical for everyone. Fire incidents pose significant risks to both life and property, making it essential for individuals to understand the principles of fire safety and acquire the necessary knowledge and skills to prevent, respond to, and manage fire-related incidents.

The Health and Safety at Work etc Act 1974 mandates that employers provide adequate training and instruction on health and safety matters, including fire safety.

Our Fire Safety Awareness scheme aims to promote an understanding of fire safety in the workplace. It covers topics such as identifying and mitigating potential fire hazards and how to respond in the event of an emergency.

Our Fire Safety Awareness scheme has been signed off by employers and stakeholders in the energy and utilities sector. This ensure that it meets the industry requirements and that the content and delivery methods are effective.

Successful completion of the training and EUSR devised multiple choice assessment results in an EUSR registration for the individual in the following category:

  • Fire Safety Awareness

Registration on EUSR

Registration on EUSR is valid for three years following successful completion of training and assessment on a training programme approved by EUSR.
