Smart Metering – Process for Removal and/or Re-instatement
Overview
The following process is to be used if an NSAP Approved Provider wishes you to either:
- Remove your company name, company and individual MOCoP for an individual with a Smart Metering registration who is no longer employed by you
- Add your company name as employer to an individual if they have joined your company – they must be already registered as a smart meter installer on EUSR
Removal
For removal of your company name as the employer of an individual with a Smart Metering EUSR registration, please complete this form. Once completed, send the form to the EUSR Support team at smartregistrations@euskills.co.uk.
Please state ‘Smart Metering – Removal of Employer Name and MOCoP’ as the email subject and also ensure that the individual’s name and EUSR number are quoted in the email.
Upon receipt of the completed form, the EUSR Support team will:
- Remove any company MOCoP – and add ‘No current MOCoP’ against the individual – only for Electricity and/or Dual fuel registrations
- For Smart Metering registrations for Gas, just the employer name will be removed
- Remove the company name as employer – for all Smart Metering registrations
- Send an acknowledgement email back to you confirming the action has taken place
- The original email will then be stored under the individual’s EUSR registration for audit purposes
- There is no charge for removal of an employer name, company and individual MOCoP
Re-instatement
For re-instatement of an individual with a current EUSR registration for Smart Metering, please complete this form. Once completed, send the form to the EUSR Support team at smartregistrations@euskills.co.uk.
Please state ‘Smart Metering – Reinstatement of Employer Name and MOCoP’ as the email subject and also ensure that the individual’s name and EUSR number are quoted in the email and that the company and individual MOCoP are attached if appropriate.
Upon receipt of the completed form, the EUSR Support team will:
- Add your company name as the employer to the individual’s Smart Metering EUSR registration – provided that it is currently shown as ‘ No current MOCoP’ for electricity registrations.
- Send an acknowledgement email back to you confirming the action has taken place
- The original email will then be stored under the individual’s EUSR registration for audit purposes
