NCO (Water) – Repair & Maintenance
Overview
EUSR registration for Repair & Maintenance (R&M) category is dependent upon the individual completing one of the following qualifications for Service or Main Layer under the ‘Distribution’ pathway, or apprenticeship:
- EUIAS Level 2 Diploma in Network Construction Operations (Water)
- CABWI Level 2 Certificate in Network Construction Operations (Water)
- City & Guilds Level 2 Diploma in Network Construction Operations (Water)
- SQA SVQ in Network Construction Operations (Water)
- Water Network Operative (WNO) Apprenticeship
(Note: registration of ELR category is not available to those who have completed the Self-Lay pathway or those being re-registered for the Self-Lay pathway).
Evidence Requirements – EUIAS Qualification
- An EUIAS Lebel 2 Diploma in Network Construction Operations (Water) – Service/Mains Layer (Self-Lay & Distribution) qualification certificate, plus the relevant R&M unit listed below:
- 1104 – Restore water network components to operational condition by repair
A Repair & Maintenance registration may be claimed at the same time as NCO Service/Mains Layer registration or re-registration provided the evidence requirements are met.
Evidence Requirements – CABWI Qualification
- A CABWI Level 2 Certificate in Network Construction Operations (Water) Service/Mains Layer (Distribution) qualification certificate, plus the relevant R&M unit listed below:
- F/503/1168 – Restore water network components to operational condition by repair
A Repair & Maintenance registration may be claimed at the same time as NCO Service/Mains Layer registration or re-registration provided the evidence requirements are met.
Evidence Requirements – City & Guilds Qualification
- A City & Guilds Level 2 Diploma in Network Construction Operations (Water) Service/ Mains Layer (Distribution) qualification certificate, plus the relevant R&M unit listed below:
- 229 – Restore water network components to operational condition by repair
A Repair & Maintenance registration may be claimed at the same time as NCO Service/Mains Layer registration or re-registration provided the evidence requirements are met.
Evidence Requirements – SQA Qualification
- An SQA SVQ in Network Construction Operations (Water) Service/ Mains Layer (Distribution) qualification certificate, plus the relevant R&M unit listed below:
- J2V004 – Restore water network components to operational condition
A Repair & Maintenance registration may be claimed at the same time as NCO Service/Mains Layer registration or re-registration provided the evidence requirements are met.
Evidence Requirements – WNO Apprenticeship
An Institute for Apprenticeships & Technical Education – Water Network Operative Apprenticeship certificate – Level 2
The WNO Apprenticeship provides the following EUSR registration:
- Mains Layer Repair & Maintenance
Pre-requisites
An individual registered for Repair & Maintenance must have EUSR registration for both National Water Hygiene and Safety, Health & Environmental Awareness (SHEA) Water as a pre-requisite.
