Important update regarding EUSR CSCS Card changes – Revised date 1 October 2026.

Previously, we advised that from 1 July 2026 we would no longer be printing SHEA registrations on EUSR CSCS Green Labourer cards – we are pushing this date back. We will continue to print SHEA registrations on EUSR CSCS Green Labourer cards until 1 October 2026.

Our priority is to ensure that energy and utilities workers can access construction sites, holding the right CSCS card for the vital jobs they carry out.

We have been working with employers and other key industry stakeholders to identify all of the utilities roles carried out on construction sites that need an EUSR CSCS card, along with the required qualifications, or equivalent.

We have also been working on changes to our QuartzWeb system to make the registration process for new EUSR CSCS cards as simple as possible.

Unfortunately, there have been delays in finalising the details of these new EUSR CSCS card schemes, as well as completing the changes to our QuartzWeb system. As a result, we will continue to print SHEA registrations on EUSR CSCS Green Labourer cards until 1 October 2026.

Between now and 1 October, we will be launching new EUSR CSCS cards, which you will be able to apply for individually via our online shop. These will include:

  • Drainage Network Operative
  • NCO Wastewater
  • Utilities Labourer
  • Trainee Cable Jointer’s Attendant
  • Cable Jointer’s Attendant
  • Cable Jointer LV
  • Cable Jointer HV
  • Substation Fitter (Distribution)
  • Substation Fitter (Transmission)
  • Substation Fitter (Construction)
  • Trainee Substation Fitter

We will also be launching new QuartzWeb functionality so SHEA Trainers can apply for EUSR CSCS cards at the same time as SHEA registrations.

Further webinars will be arranged to update you on the new EUSR CSCS cards and QuartzWeb changes that we’re launching. These webinars will provide you with an opportunity to learn more and ask questions.

All of the previous webinar recordings and FAQs we have received can be found on our website, however, if you have any questions in the meantime, please contact [email protected] marking for the attention of Fergus Kaye and Rachel Thomas.
