If this application is for a new EUSR registration and card, a photo must be submitted. The photo must conform to the same requirements as a UK passport – head and shoulders only, no headgear (unless for religious purposes), front facing, plain background. We accept PDF and jpeg formats. For EUSR registration renewal, you can also update your current photo.

We will accept a colour photo, or a colour scanned image of the original certificate(s) or e-certificate. The photograph or scanned image must be clear, with all details legible and show the certificate in full to enable verification. If it is not clear, we will not be able to proceed with the application. *

    EUSR Card

    Every EUSR registration is awarded a virtual card by default –which you can download onto your mobile – you will receive a text giving you full instructions on how to do this. A virtual card cannot be lost and it’s easy to amend your mobile number should you get a new one. Virtual cards also work in areas where there is no internet. You can opt for an additional plastic smart card, but there will be an additional cost for this.

    Confined Spaces scheme is for anyone who is required to undertake work in a confined space in any industry. Individuals must have completed a Confined Spaces qualification for the relevant category they are applying for.

    Registration for Confined Spaces is available in the following categories:

    • Working in Low Risk Confined Spaces
    • Working in Medium Risk Confined Spaces
    • Top Person Non-Entrant for Medium Risk Confined Spaces
    • Top Person & Entrant for Medium Risk Confined Spaces
    • Working in High Risk Confined Spaces
    • Top Person Non-Entrant for High Risk Confined Spaces
    • Top Person & Entrant for High Risk Confined Spaces
    • Emergency Rescue & Recovery of Casualties from Confined Spaces
    • Managing Work in Confined Spaces

    Registration on EUSR is gained when the evidence for registration has been submitted and verified. A colour photo or colour scanned image of an individual’s original certificate must be submitted to EUSR for all registrations by email to [email protected]

    Confined Spaces registration is valid for three years.

    To access your new virtual card, your EUSR record must include your mobile number, which is why we request it on the Application Form.

    You will only receive your card once the Application Form has been received and verified.

    All new EUSR registrations now come with a virtual card by default, which makes checking the card quicker and more secure on site and reduces the plastic we all use.  Some employers may also pay £3 for an additional plastic smart card. You must provide a mobile number to receive an SMS message with a unique registration and PIN number to access your virtual card.
