National Grid Person Substations/Overhead Lines

For bookings made from 7 April 2025 onwards, National Grid Persons training course prices are increasing. The new course prices are:

• Initial Course Price £550.00 (plus VAT)
• Renewal Course Price £450.00 (plus VAT)

Person Courses

• Individuals who have an in-date Person Authorisation which has been completed since January 2020 should take the online Person Renewal course before it expires.
• Individuals who require a Person Authorisation who are either first time applicants or do not have an in-date Person Authorisation should book onto the Initial Person course.

From Monday 8 December, all National Grid course bookings can be made up to 3 working days before the course date, instead of the previous 10 working day requirement.

This update is being introduced to provide greater flexibility with bookings, as courses continue to be in high demand and spaces often fill quickly.

Aligning with this change, our payment terms will change from 10 working days to 3 working days before the course date and our refund policy will also be updated to a 3 working day timeframe. These adjustments will help us manage course availability more efficiently.
