The  Cable Jointer’s Attendant Scheme is for individuals who work as a cable jointer attendant (also known as cable jointer’s mate) within the power sector.

Registration on Cable Jointer’s Attendant is available in the following categories. Please click on sections to view the evidence requirements:

Registration on EUSR is gained when the required certificate evidence has been submitted and verified.

Individuals must hold a valid EUSR registration for SHEA Power.

Cable Jointer’s Attendant registration is valid for 3 years, with the exception of the Trainee category.

Renewing a Cable Jointer’s Attendant EUSR registration  

EUSR Registration Renewal

Renewal registration is valid for three years. An individual may be re-registered for Cable Jointer’s Attendant Skilled Worker Card where the required evidence is submitted and verified.

Trainee registration is valid for 18 months. Individuals may only be registered once.

To access your new virtual card, your EUSR record must include your mobile number, which is why we request it on the Registration Form.

You will only receive your card once the Application Form has been received and verified.

All new EUSR registrations now come with a virtual card by default, which makes checking the card quicker and more secure on site and reduces the plastic we all use. Some employers may also pay £3 for an additional plastic smart card. You must provide a mobile number to receive an SMS message with a unique registration and PIN number to access your virtual card.
